Materials + Care
We pride ourselves on ethically sourcing our stones from all over the world! We work with natural diamonds, lab grown diamonds, and moissanites if you are interested in a traditional non-colored stone. All natural & lab grown diamonds will come with a GIA or IGI certification report (unless you purchase a standard diamond).
We also work with the most beautiful sapphires sourced from Ceylon to Montana to Australia. These stones will be sourced on a case-by-case basis and we will find your dream stone. We only work with ethical sapphire cutters and partners and almost all of our sapphires are traceable back to the mine of where they came from!
We have partnered with Misfits Diamonds & we now offer diamonds and gemstones through our website to make selecting your perfect stone much easier. Submit a Custom Inquiry Form to design your dream ring today!
We work with natural and lab grown diamonds, standard and non-standard. Whether you are looking for a natural or lab, you will be given the option of choosing a standard or non-standard diamond.
These diamonds are identical and do not affect the integrity of the stone itself. The only difference is that non-standard diamonds have gone through the formal lab grading process and standard diamonds have not. It doesn't make them any less valuable or of lesser quality. Because non-standard diamonds are graded, they will come with a grading report (GIA for natural diamonds and IGI for lab grown diamonds) where as standard diamonds will not have a report.
Gold-filled jewelry is jewelry composed of a solid layer of gold mechanically bonded to a base of either sterling silver or a base metal. Unlike plating, it is a thick layer of gold that will not rub off or tarnish with wear.
Gold Plated jewelry consists of a very thin layer of gold being electrically charged onto a base metal or sterling silver. If sterling silver is plated in gold this can also be referred to as “Vermeil”. Plated jewelry has the shortest life span since the plated layer will rub off with contact to the skin (general wear) and contact with moisture.
Yes, technically you can get your gold filled jewelry wet as long as it is dried thoroughly afterwards. Although, we do not recommend showering in any jewelry since soap build-up dulls stones and metals.
